Why does my weight go back and forth?

I've been trying to lose weight and I've noticed that my weight goes back and forth A LOT.

Like I exercise everyday for at least 40 minutes and I don't eat any junk food at all. I always weigh myself in the morning when I haven't eaten anything yet.

One day it'll be 104, the next 103, and then 104.2, and then, 102, and suddenly 103.5, and then back to 102, then 101.4 and 103 again. Why does it do that? D: It's so frustrating when I see the numbers go down but suddenly all the way back up again! Is this normal or am I doing something wrong? I don't suddenly eat a lot one day and nothing the other day. My diet is really balanced. Anyone know what's going on?

That's normal. Everyone's body weight fluctuates from minute to minute and from day to day.

That's why most nutritionists recommend you only weigh yourself once per week (or once every two weeks is better). Weigh yourself on the same day of the week, at the same time of day, and if possible, weigh yourself naked. This will give you the best measurement of your overall trend (which is the thing you should be focused on--instead of focusing on the exact number the scale shows, you should be focusing on whether it's trending down or up).
