Just a small house...looking to spend around 300,000 euros...I have no idea what the housing market over there is like.

Answer on How would one go about buying a house in Italy/France?
I live in Italy, actually, if you want to buy here you should go to an international real estate office and ask all the questions you need to know. 300,000 euros is a lot for a small town, but nothing in a large importante city. Look around and bring a lawer....
