1. My parrot spends more time out of the cage then in, she comes to work with me every day. Only time she is in cage is if I'm out, or she is eating or sleeping.

2. She is hardly ever in the cage. When she goes in, its because she wants alone time.

3. Of course! She has many nicknames, and knows them all (how to say them as well)

4. I do not have a cockatiel. I have an African Grey, she knows several hundred words

12. Yes, but its really not 100%, still happens sometimes.

13. She keeps nearly the same hours I do, I cover her about 2 hours before I go to bed, and uncover her about a half hour after I wake.

16. I'm not sure why this would be a bad idea. I never sleep so I could squash her, but we are family, she is where I am. That includes naps.

I'm glad to see you care so much about the health and happiness of your bird! So many people are neglectful of their birds, or are uneducated about proper care. :-)



ADDED: Bird bread basically tastes like if you made bread with no flavor at all. My bird thinks it is gross, and as I try all her food, I agree :-)
