I need help... my friend's life is completely miserable....what should i do?

My friend has a jacked up life, and he needs help fast! Everyday there's a problem, and not just one of those small ones, like, "Oh my gosh, there was this kid who would not leave me alone!" But hes dating my best friend and they really like each other but this other girl who is completely jealous who I will label "Popular" is trying to ruin his relationship with her by following them and finding things to use against him, like the other day, she found out his parents were dying so she said this, " If you don't break up with her I'll post this all over Myspace. " And another thing, his brother is in a gang and is all mean and heartless. He want's him to be in it too! But he's not anything like that, he's nice and harmless and you know whats so messed up? His bro takes steroids and wants him to take it too, but of course he refused so while he was sleeping they slipped a pill in his mouth!! That's jacked up!! And every time he hangs out with his friends they gang up on him and beat him up, cause apparently he can only hang out with black people. Plus to make it worse he gets beaten everyday because hes nice... that's pretty stupid isn't it? I could name a whole bunch of other problems that he has but I just want to know, how do I help him??

WOW ! That sounds like a lot of drama. A horrible situation for any one to be in let alone a kid. Who is still developing. Where are the parents in all this?



You are his peer there is no way you will know how to help here.It takes life experience. How ever you have made a good step here. You are a good friend to him Apple. The help you can offer is limited however. I say this because of the complications involved with all the separate issues you mention in your question. The daily issues he's faced with and crying out to you for help.



Seriously you need adult intervention. It could be a school guidance counselor , a clergy man or women. Someone in the community who works with troubled youth.Do you have a local YMCA you can phone? Or a Big Brothers ?



I would suggest calling th local police dept and seeing if they can make a recommendation. You can do this anonymously.
