I just studied abroad in Florence for three months, and it was wonderful....I was lucky enough to be able to visit all of these places. Florence is a wonderful place and there is so much to see and do. Depending on what your time schedule is like, I would spend about 4 days in Rome, if you go to Florence and spend a few days, Siena is not that far and is easily a day trip, and has the most beautiful piazza. Cinque Terre is very nice for warm weather because it is right on the sea, the hiking is tough for those who are not used to it but the views are beautiful, I would spend maybe 2 or 3 days there. Venice is just so unique, and there is no other place like it in the world. I spent about 3 days there this past winter and did not have the best weather, but it was still beautiful to say the least.
